Profile

I joined the Acoustics, Audio and Video discipline at Salford in January 2004 as a Reader. I have a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham, a PhD in Acoustics from the University of Liverpool and I'm a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Institute of Acoustics.

Research interests

My main research interests are: Structure-borne sound, ‘Virtual Acoustic Prototypes,‘Low Frequency Noise, Building Acoustics.

Teaching

I currently teach the laboratories for BSc Acoustics laboratories, MSc Audio Acoustics, and Institute of Acoustics Diploma in Acoustics and Noise Control.

I'm also supervising several student projects at BSc and MSc level.
