Profile
I am a full time PhD student at the Acoustics Research Centre, working in the area of audio quality in small rooms. I am studying prediction and modeling of sound fields in rooms for sound reproduction in an attempt to identify and profile novel metrics for the characterisation of such spaces. My research is entitled ‘Profiling the Effects of Reflections on Phantom Imaging in Small Rooms through Computational Acoustic Modelling and Signal Processing’, and is supervised by Dr. Bruno Fazenda and Prof. Jamie Angus.
Projects
Profiling the Effects of Reflections on Phantom Imaging in Small Rooms
WaveCloud: GPGPU Accelerated 3D Acoustics FDTD Research Software
Research Interests
My interests include: Room Acoustics Modelling, Computational Acoustics on GPGPU, Auralisation, Psychoacoustics and Perception of Sound Localisation, Music Signal Processing, in particular artificial reverberation; Archeaological Acoustics and Acoustics Preservation.
I am also involved in some public engagement.
