I joined the Acoustics, Audio and Video discipline at Salford in October 2004 as a Lecturer in Theoretical Acoustics. I got an MSc in Physics from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (FizTech) and PhD in Acoustics from General Physics Institute, Russian Academy of Science.
1998-2000 - Research Fellow, Open University
2000-2004 - Research Fellow, University of Hull
I teach Principles of Acoustics and Psychoacoustics for Level 2, BSc and Acoustics and Signal Statistics for MSc degree. I also act as BSc final year projects coordinator
My present research interests are: acoustics of porous media, scattering, nonlinear acoustics.
